I have an increasingly balding crown though my hair is otherwise full. Several years ago I tried Rogaine. I gave it close to a year. For me it was a total waste of money. When I saw pictures of the back of my head at a wedding with increasing crown baldness, that was the last straw. I started using the Toppik hair building fibers and with a little practice and the right mirror set up have pretty much gotten the process of shaking the powder on down to a science. There are a few negatives: a bit messy in application, yes, but just a little gets on the lavatory counter. A bit pricy too. Will get on any surface coming in contact with your hair such as a pillow. A ball cap will mess it up (I might try the Toppik Fiberhold to solve that issue). But bottom line: the results truly are a 30 second hair transplant.
